The museum is divided into two buildings: the Main Building (for interactive exhibits) and the New Building (for historical exhibits). Renovated in 2018, the New Building now functions as a full-fledged museum, allowing for the appropriate display of valuable materials such as Ryoma's letters. A life-size statue of Ryoma stands at the entrance, and the exhibits, including letters, photographs, chronologies, and videos, provide a three-dimensional introduction to his personality and historical background. It's designed to satisfy everyone, from beginners to research enthusiasts.

The Main Building's exhibits cover Ryoma's life from birth to death through timelines, documents, and videos. The New Building's exhibits explore his thoughts and way of life through his words, letters, and personal belongings.

The building is located on a hill above Katsurahama Park, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean horizon from the lobby and terrace. Outdoor spaces like the "Rooftop Observatory" and "Blank Stage" are also appealing, allowing you to take stunning photos while enjoying the sea breeze on a clear day.
