Located in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, Hozan-ji Temple is a sacred place of worship for the deity Shoden (Kankiten), which was opened by the priest Tankai in 1678. The temple is characterized by its layout that blends in with the nature of Mt. Ikoma, creating a solemn atmosphere. In particular, the main hall, Shoden-do Hall, and pagoda have been designated as important cultural properties, which shows their high historical value. The cable car ride up the steep mountain path is also one of the attractions, as it gives you a sense of the extraordinary.

Hozan-ji Temple is known for its blessings such as business prosperity, and is particularly revered by businessmen in Osaka and Nara. In addition, the "Shishikaku" (lion pavilion), which is open to the public for a special event, is a rare Western-style building for a temple, and its unique appearance is also one of the attractions.

There is a free parking lot just before the entrance to the Shigiikoma Skyline. There is a second parking lot a little further ahead, so if the first parking lot is full, you can use that one.

The Shigiikoma Skyline is a toll road. If you are not going to visit any tourist spots within the Shigiikoma Skyline, it is better to access it from the Ikoma City side using the general road.
