It is a castle located in Tottori city and is designated as one of Japan's Top 100 Castles.

In Tottori city, there is a castle that has been designated as one of Japan's 100 famous castles, called Tottori Castle.

During the Warring States period, it became the stage of the tragic event known as the "Starvation of Tottori" in the food supply siege between Hideyoshi Hashiba and the Mouri clan.

Nowadays, only the stone walls remain. The castle is known for its unique round stone walls, the only ones of their kind in Japan. The ruins of the main keep are located at the summit, which can be reached in about 30 minutes by foot.

Adjacent to the castle is a building called "Nifukukan".

Parking is free and visitors can use the parking lot of the Tottori Prefectural Government.
