As a place for the exchange of knowledge connecting Okayama University with the local community, it hosts academic events and international conferences organized by the university, as well as exhibitions, contemporary art displays, music events, and performances.

On the Tsushima campus of Okayama University, you'll find Junko Fukutake Terrace, also designed by SANAA.

Across the street is the ONSAYA COFFEE Shikata Campus Branch. There is also a Starbucks Coffee Okayama University Hospital Branch on the first floor of the university hospital.
