It is a sluice gate for an irrigation canal built 300 years ago.
Although it is no longer in use, the wooden water gate gives a sense of the times.

It is open all the time, so you can visit freely.

It's hard to find on the map, but it's on the left after running about 700m on Prefectural Road 252 from the intersection of Yoshii on Route 2.
The parking lot has a parking space for about 4 cars in the triangular area between the narrow road from the prefectural road 252 to the water gate side.
