Otori Taisha is a shrine of Izumi Province Ichinomiya in Sakai City.
The main enshrined deities are Yamato Takeru no Mikoto and Otori Rensojin. Yamato Takeru is a god who appears in the Kojiki and Nihonshoki, and is considered to be the god who pioneered Japan. Otori-rensojin is said to be the ancestor god of the Otori clan who prospered in Izumi Province.

Otori Taisha is located at the foot of Mt. Phoenix in the northern part of the Osaka Plain. In the precincts, there are many historical buildings, such as the main shrine designated as a national treasure, the Otori-zukuri shrine, the secondary and secondary shrines designated as national treasures, and the torii gate designated as an important cultural property.
