Kotobuki Castle is a sweets theme park with an exterior modeled after Yonago Castle. In addition to shopping, you can also sample sweets and take a tour of a sweets factory.
Located in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, Kotobuki Castle is a huge confectionery store and tourist facility that sells famous sweets from the San'in region. As its name suggests, the store is characterized by its unique exterior that imitates a Japanese castle, which is the first thing that surprises visitors. The store is spacious, and a variety of Japanese and Western sweets are lined up, including the classic Tottori souvenir "Inaba no Shirousagi". The tasting corner is a major attraction, and you can actually taste the sweets you are interested in before purchasing them, so you will not fail to choose a souvenir. There is also a wide selection of freshly made fresh sweets and seasonal products, so you will find something new no matter how many times you visit.

One of the major attractions of Kotobuki Castle is the factory tour corridor where you can see the process of making sweets. You can see the craftsmen skillfully making sweets through the glass up close, which will be a valuable experience especially for children. The tour surrounded by the sweet aroma of freshly baked sweets will whet your appetite. There is also a cafe called "Sunaba Coffee" inside the building where you can enjoy lunch and desserts.

On the top floor there is an observation deck with a 360-degree view.

[Trivia]
The building of Kotobuki Castle is said to be modeled after Yonago Castle, the most famous castle in Tottori Prefecture. It is also famous that you can observe the manufacturing process of "Inaba no Shirousagi" (White Rabbit of Inaba) inside the building, but in fact this sweet is made based on the myth of "Inaba no Shirousagi" (White Rabbit of Inaba) that appears in the Kojiki.
