Kashima Shrine

Kashima Shrine is a historic shrine located in Takasago City.
According to the shrine's legend, Kashima Shrine was founded in the Nara period as a guardian shrine for the Kokubunji Temple in Harima Province.

It is famous as a god of "one wish fulfillment" where each person's wish will be fulfilled if they visit the shrine. In addition, on both sides of the approach to the shrine, there are shops selling the famous kashiwa mochi.


Walk about 500m from the parking lot.

The starting point for climbing Mt. Takamikura is on the premises.

The head office is Kashima Shrine in Kashima City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
