The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art consists of two buildings. One is the ``Exhibition Building,'' where collected works are displayed, and the other is the ``Special Exhibition Building,'' where special exhibitions and lectures are held.

The collection of the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art consists of approximately 10,000 works, including Japanese paintings, Western paintings, sculptures, crafts, and photographs. Among them, the collection of modern and contemporary Japanese art is substantial, and you can appreciate works by famous artists such as Taikan Yokoyama, Tsuguharu Fujita, Ryusei Kishida, Taro Okamoto, and Yayoi Kusama.
