From Kappa Bridge, which spans the Azusa River, you can see the majestic Hotaka Mountain Range.

Kamikochi is a scenic spot with magnificent natural views overlooking the Hotaka Mountain Range and Mt. Yarigatake in the Japanese Alps. You can enjoy a variety of nature including the clear waters of the Azusa River, clumps of alpine plants, and wild animals.

Due to restrictions on private cars, you can access the area by parking your car at the Sawando parking lot or Hirayu parking lot and heading there by bus or taxi.
