Nakazaki Sanso is located in Shinhotaka Onsen at an altitude of about 1,100m, and all the baths are free-flowing from the hot spring source. The indoor and outdoor baths overlook the mountain stream, and the traditional bamboo partitions allow the baths to cool naturally, which is an attractive feature. Even on a day trip, you can fully enjoy the hot springs and mountain scenery.

There are two types of springs: simple springs and sulfur springs. In addition to the indoor and outdoor baths, there is also a mist sauna.

There is a large public bath, and the hot spring water from the private source flows into the outdoor and indoor baths. From the outdoor bath, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Northern Alps.

In addition, at the restaurant, you can enjoy Hida local cuisine such as Hida beef and magnolia leaf miso, as well as Takayama ramen and soba noodles.
