Happo Pond is a pond located on Happo-one in the Northern Alps, and has a spectacular view of Hakuba Sanzan reflected on the water surface.

Happoike is a natural pond formed by melted snow. Asian skunk cabbage and alpine plants are in full bloom in the surrounding area, and you can enjoy the cool scenery in summer. It is also popular as a spot for autumn leaves in autumn.

To access Happoike, use the Happo Alpine Line. The Happo Alpine Line is a ropeway that connects Kurobishi Parking Lot in Hakuba Village to Happoike Sanso with an altitude difference of 1,060m.

It takes about an hour and a half to walk from the lift station.
