Nagoya TV Tower is a radio tower located in Hisaya Odori Park in Sakae, Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. With a height of 178.7 meters, it is the first integrated radio tower completed in Japan.
The Nagoya TV Tower opened in 1954 and is a familiar landmark of Nagoya.
From the two observatories of the Nagoya TV Tower, you can get a panoramic view of the city of Nagoya. From the Sky Deck, which is 90 meters above the ground, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Nagoya Station, the Sakae district, Osu, and other townscapes. In addition, from the "Sky Balcony" 100 meters above the ground, you can see the cityscape in a space with a sense of openness.
It is also popular as a night view spot, and the tower body is lit up according to the season and events, creating a fantastic atmosphere. In particular, the illuminations during the Christmas season have become a night view spot that represents Nagoya.
