Kegon Falls is a 97m waterfall located in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Water from Lake Chuzenji flows down from the lava wall of Mt. Nantai, and is considered one of Japan's top three waterfalls.
The biggest feature of Kegon Falls is its majestic scale. The diameter of the basin of the waterfall is about 30m, and the width of the waterfall is about 100m, making it extremely impressive.

Another appeal of Kegon Falls is that you can enjoy the scenery of each season. Fresh greenery in spring and the spray of water from the waterfall in summer provide a cooling effect. In autumn, the autumn leaves color the waterfall, and in winter, you can see how the waterfall basin freezes.

Kegon Falls is a representative tourist spot in Nikko and is visited by many tourists throughout the year.
