Located near Noboribetsu Onsen in Hokkaido, this is an active volcanic valley where you can enjoy the wild, exposed nature.
The grounds, which are approximately 450 meters in diameter, have numerous hot spring outlets and fumaroles, and the bubbling and boiling appearance of the site is where the name ``Hell inhabits Demons'' comes from.

Jigokudani is the source of Noboribetsu Onsen, and more than 10,000 tons of hot spring water gushes out each day.
