Located in Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture, this large waterfall has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls and has a height of 46 meters and a width of 43 meters.

Longmen Waterfall is named for its resemblance to the Longmen Waterfall on the Yellow River in China. The origin of this name is said to have come from the Tang people who praised this waterfall and said, "It's like looking at the dragon gate waterfall in China."
