Okawa Falls is located in the southwestern part of Yakushima, about 10 minutes by car from Kuryu Village toward Seibu Rindo. The promenade from Kuryu Village to the waterfall is maintained and wheelchair accessible.

Okawa Falls is located where Okawa flowing down from the foot of Mt. Miyanoura forms a cliff. The waterfall with a drop of 88 meters is full of power with plenty of water. You can go to the vicinity of the basin of the waterfall and feel the dynamic spray up close.
