This is the largest ancient tomb in Hyogo Prefecture, located in Tarumi Ward, Kobe City. The shape has been restored and is beautiful.
Goshikizuka Tumulus is the largest keyhole-shaped tumulus in Hyogo Prefecture, built in the late 4th century. It has a total length of 194 meters, a width of 82.4 meters at the front, a height of 13 meters, a diameter of 125.5 meters at the rear, and a height of 18.8 meters, and is surrounded by a moat.

It is known that many haniwa such as cylindrical haniwa with fins and morning glory-shaped haniwa were placed on the mound. In addition, valuable items such as bronze mirrors, beads, and iron products have been excavated as burial goods.

You can see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge from the top of the burial mound.
