Tarobogu Shrine (Aga Shrine) in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture is a shrine worshiped as a god that bestows victory and happiness. Located at the top of Mt. Akakami at an altitude of 350m, you can see the red torii gate and main shrine after climbing the long stone steps.
It is said that Tarobogu Shrine was founded approximately 1400 years ago. It is also known for having been visited by military commanders and monks such as Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Prince Shotoku, and during the Edo period, many worshipers visited as it was known as the ``Shrine of Victory.''

You can feel a sense of accomplishment as you climb the long stone steps to the top of the mountain.

There are Tarobo Miyamae Station parking lot, Kanda-mae parking lot, trailhead parking lot, and halfway up parking lot, all of which are open 24 hours a day for free.
