Yakushiyu is a two-story wooden building built in 1912 (Taisho 1). The hot spring water (44.4℃, sodium chloride spring) flows naturally from 2-3m underground and is poured directly into the bath without adding water or heating.

The bath has a single tub large enough for about 6 people, and no soap or shampoo is provided.

There is a covered garden terrace on the rooftop, where you can enjoy the seasonal scenery while drinking free coffee.

There are 30 free parking spaces scattered in front of the bath, making it convenient for those who come by car.

There is also a hot spring called "Motoyusen Yakuyu" diagonally opposite, which has a different hot spring source and is also said to be very good.

I heard that the water temperature is high, so it is more suitable for locals and experts.

It is also conveniently located, about 20 minutes by car from Iwami Ginzan.

The neighboring Yakushiyu Closed Building has been turned into a cozy cafe called Cafe Kuranojo.

Yakushiyu's "All 5" is the only award-winning hot spring in the Sanin region, and is known for its freshness, referred to as "raw hot springs." The rooftop garden terrace was also installed shortly after the war and has been loved by locals for many years as a place of relaxation.
