Chausudake Nasu Ropeway

There is a ropeway from the 7th station to the 9th station of Mt. Chausu, the main peak of Nasu. It takes about 4 minutes to reach the summit of Mt. Chausudake at an altitude of 1,896m in the Nasu Highlands, with a difference in altitude of 1,200m.
The ropeway's summit station is equipped with facilities such as an observation deck, shops, and restaurants, so you can enjoy the scenery at your leisure.
Chausu-dake is the highest peak in the Nasu Mountain Range and is a scenic spot offering a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain.

In autumn, it becomes a spot with spectacular views of the autumn leaves.

The ropeway operates from mid-March to mid-November.
