Nasu Onsen Shikanoyu is a historical hot spring that dates back to the 7th century. It is a natural free-flowing sulfur spring. The temperature of the source of Nasu Onsen is 63 to 80 degrees.
There is a unique custom of ``kaburyu'' before bathing to prevent overheating and nausea.

There are six types of baths: 41, 42, 43, 44, 46, and 48 degrees (the women's bath does not have 48 degrees).
