Hirayama Castle, located in Tokushima City, is selected as one of the 100 best castles in Japan.

Tokushima Castle is a flat mountain castle built on Mt. It is a contoured castle that surrounds Honmaru and Ninomaru with moats and earthworks.
After the Meiji Restoration, the castle was abandoned and the stone walls and castle tower were demolished.

Currently, only the stone wall remains and there is no castle tower.

There is "Tokushima Castle Museum" on the premises.
