The Mitarai Valley, located in Tenkawa Village, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture, is a tourist spot with a dynamic beauty of a clear stream flowing through waterfalls of various sizes and huge rocks that can be seen through to the bottom.
The Mitarai Valley has a promenade with a total length of about 8 km, and there are various courses such as a two-hour course from Kawai to Dorogawa Onsen and a two-hour course from Dorogawa Onsen to Kawai.

The highlight of the Mitarai Valley is the large and small waterfalls. Typical waterfalls include Hikari no Taki with a drop of about 10m, Otaki with a drop of about 20m, and Mie Falls with a drop of about 30m.

In addition, Mitarai Valley has many strangely shaped rocks and huge rocks, and you can enjoy the powerful scenery.

Mitarai Valley is also attractive because you can enjoy the natural beauty of each season.
