Established in 1856, this is a long-established Japanese confectionery shop that sells uiro, a specialty of Nagoya.
The representative confectionery of Suzume Odori Sohonten is "Uiro'' made with Okinawan brown sugar. It has a chewy texture that takes advantage of the flavor of domestic rice flour. Bite-sized ``Ichichi Uiro'' are also popular.

The warabi mochi at Suzumeodori Sohonten is characterized by its simple taste, made with warabi flour from Hokkaido and homemade brown sugar syrup.
