A complex bookstore where books, food, miscellaneous goods, and entertainment intersect. A child-friendly tourist spot in Kochi that can be enjoyed even in the rain.
The first floor of the building is a "food and lifestyle" market with shops like AKOMEYA, Tomizawa Shoten, Starbucks, and local cafes. The second floor is for adult books and stationery, and the third floor is for children's books and an indoor play area. With a diverse range of tenants, you can enjoy shopping, eating, and learning all in one place.
Kids Park CHUCHU on the third floor is one of the largest indoor play areas in the prefecture. All-day play is available for 550 yen per person on weekdays, with free passes available on weekends and holidays. Divided into zones for play according to age, it's the perfect rainy-day plan for parents and children.
The local cafe on the building is popular for its toast and sandwiches in the morning, Kochi vegetable deli at lunchtime, and sweets made with pomelo and yuzu in the afternoon. Hand-dripped coffee made with home-roasted beans and Tosa tea lattes are also popular, making it a great place to browse the bookshelves with a takeaway in hand.
The general goods corner is full of "Kochi-esque" items, such as Tosa washi paper stationery, Shimanto cypress woodwork, indigo-dyed accessories, and yuzu-scented bath salts. They also offer careful gift wrapping and gift wrapping services, making it easy to send from your travel destination, and on weekends they hold demonstrations and workshops by artists.
