Inside the museum, there are many precious fossils on display that tell the long history of life that spans approximately 4 billion years.

Dinosaur fossils discovered in the Okuizumo region are particularly rare and valuable even in Japan.

The museum displays dinosaur fossils, as well as fossils of ancient creatures such as ammonites and floatfish. There are also exhibits and hands-on corners where you can learn about dinosaurs and ancient creatures.
