Osaka's Shinsekai is a downtown area located in Naniwa Ward, Osaka City. It all began in 1912 when an amusement park centered around Tsutenkaku was built.

The three-dimensional billboards around Tsutenkaku make for an impressive photo spot, and the area is crowded with tourists, including many foreigners.

"Janjan Yokocho" is lined with many food stalls selling kushikatsu, takoyaki, and other foods.
