Okutsu Onsen Hanabijin no Sato is a day-trip hot spring facility where you can casually enjoy the "beautiful skin water" that springs from Okutsu Onsen, one of the three hot springs in Mimasaka. You can enjoy the hot spring and the surrounding nature to the fullest.
Located on a hill overlooking Okutsu Onsen Town in Kagamino-cho, Tomata-gun, Okayama Prefecture, "Hanabijin no Sato" is a day-trip hot spring facility where you can casually enjoy alkaline simple hot springs, known for their skin-beautifying effects. The large bath is equipped with a spacious indoor bath, an open-air bath, a jet bath, and a sauna. The colorless, transparent, viscous water is known for making the skin smooth, and is popular among women in particular. In the open-air bath surrounded by beautiful nature, you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content while watching the scenery of the four seasons.

The facility also has an Italian restaurant, "7UP," which serves lunch menus that make use of local seasonal ingredients such as fresh vegetables sourced from local contract farmers, seasonal wild vegetables, river fish, and game. It is also recommended to enjoy the local flavors after warming up in the hot springs. At the shop, you can purchase hot spring goods and local souvenirs, so you can take home memories of your trip.

It is easily accessible, about 30 minutes by car from Innosho IC on the Chugoku Expressway, and is recommended to stop by in addition to other nearby tourist spots such as Okutsu Valley and Okutsu Onsen Roadside Station. At Hanabijin no Sato, you can experience a full-fledged hot spring even on a day trip, so refresh your mind and body and enjoy the rich nature and culture of northern Okayama.

[Trivia]
Okutsu Onsen is one of the three hot springs in Mimasaka, and the rare custom of "foot-stomping laundry" remains. In the past, women could be seen washing laundry together with their feet, and this is said to be the origin of the name "Beauty Bath." At Hanabijin no Sato, an "Angel Flower Bath" is held on the fourth Sunday of every month, where flowers are floated in the women's open-air bath.

[Hidden Spot Information]
Right next to Hanabijin no Sato is Okutsu Valley, which has been designated as a national scenic spot. It is especially spectacular during the autumn foliage season, when you can enjoy the beauty of nature while strolling along the valley. The roadside station "Okutsu Onsen" is also nearby, so it's a great place to stop by and look for local specialties and souvenirs.
