Tsurugi is a mountain with an altitude of 1,955m that straddles Miyoshi City, Mima City, and Naka Town, Naka District, Tokushima Prefecture. It is the highest peak in Tokushima Prefecture and was selected by Kyuya Fukada as one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains along with Mt. Ishizuchi in Shikoku.
Mt. Tsurugi is located in the eastern part of the Shikoku Mountains and is the second tallest peak in western Japan after Mt. Ishizuchi. The summit is a sacred peak that flourished as a mountain of mountain worship, and there are the Tsurugi Shrine, the Jiro Oi Shrine, and the third triangulation point "Mt. Tsurugi".

Mt. Tsurugi has well-maintained trails, so even beginners can enjoy a day trip. In addition, the Mt. Tsurugi sightseeing mountain lift operates between Minokoshi and Nishijima, making it easy to reach the summit.

The ridge leading to Jiro Oi is very beautiful.

About an hour and a half without using the lift to climb.

The mountain is easy to climb even for beginners.
