The sunset view of Lake Shinji from the Shimane Prefectural Museum of Art has been selected as one of the top 100 sunset locations in Japan.
The museum is designed with the theme of harmony with water, and its architectural design is by Kiyonori Kikutake.

There is no need to enter the museum to enjoy the sunset spot in front of it, as it is connected to the outside.

There are 12 statues of "Lake Shinji Rabbits" by the lakeside.

The parking lot might be a bit difficult to find, but it is located a short distance away from the museum and is free for up to 3 hours.
