Kotohiragu Shrine, also known as Konpira-san, is a shrine that is affectionately called "Konpira-san."
There are 785 steps to climb to reach the shrine, and a total of 1368 steps to reach the inner shrine. It takes an additional 30 minutes from the main shrine to reach the inner shrine.

Near the entrance of the shrine, there is the last remaining Kabuki theater, the "Kanamaru-za" theater. There is also a free foot bath available.

There are many restaurants and souvenir shops along the approach to the shrine.

There are various parking options, including municipal parking lots, coin parking, and privately-run parking lots.

In addition, the city of Zentsuji is located about 20 minutes away by car.
