Mt. Yoshino is a general term for a mountain ridge that stretches for about 8 kilometers from the south bank of the Yoshino River to the Omine Mountains in Yoshino Town, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture. Wide area name.
Yoshino has long been known as a sacred place for mountain worship, and Kinpusen-ji Zao-do has been registered as a World Heritage Site. It is also famous for its cherry blossoms, and about 30,000 cherry blossom trees bloom along the Yoshino River from early to mid-April.

There are many temples and shrines on Mt. Yoshino, including Kinpusenji Temple, Ominesenji Temple, Kinpusenji Okunoin Temple, and Yoshino Shrine. There is also a promenade along the Yoshino River, where you can enjoy a stroll while admiring the cherry blossoms.

Yoshino is an attractive tourist destination where you can experience history and culture. It is a recommended spot not only for those who want to enjoy cherry blossoms, but also for those who are interested in history and culture.
