It reopened in August 2024 as "Kimida Onsen Mori no Izumi." Since reopening, the operating information has changed, so it's best to check. The photo is from before the renovation.

Kimida Onsen Mori no Izumi is a day-trip hot spring nestled in the forests of the Chugoku Mountains. It's a relaxing complex offering skin-beautifying baking soda spring water, an open-air bath and sauna, dining, accommodation, an RV park, and even a dog run.
Kimita Onsen Mori no Izumi, located in Kimita Town, Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, will undergo renovation in August 2024. The springs are carbon dioxide-containing, sodium-calcium-bicarbonate (also known as baking soda) springs, known as "beauty springs" for their soft texture on the skin. In addition to indoor and outdoor baths, there's also a sauna and cold bath, allowing even day-trippers to fully relax and unwind. The facility also features a retail shop, lounge, and Irori restaurant serving local ingredients, providing plenty of post-bath entertainment.

The facility's grounds also include free parking, an RV park, a dog run, a bakery called Mori no Bakery, and an Ohayoichi market featuring freshly picked vegetables. At the adjacent Haramichio Art Museum, you can enjoy both hot springs and art. It also doubles as a roadside station called Forest Kimita, making it a great place to take a break on a road trip or for a day trip with the kids.

You can also stay overnight, and the lodge-style detached houses are particularly recommended for families as you can enjoy barbecues in the garden.

The rooms are clean and equipped with showers.

The property is located about a 20-minute drive north from Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture on Prefectural Route 39.

It is also about a 3-minute drive from Kuchiwa IC on the Matsue Expressway (toll-free section).
