A long-established Japanese confectionery shop located in Saidaiji-cho, an Omotemachi shopping street founded in 1899.
Simple Japanese sweets are lined up, including Chofu, which is gyuhi wrapped in soft dough.

The mame daifuku in the photo is 184 yen. The beans are delicious and the texture and sweetness are perfectly balanced. Mugwort mochi also smells strongly of mugwort.

Speaking of Okayama, millet dumplings and recently Minamoto Kitchoan are the mainstream, but sometimes simple Japanese sweets are also good.
