Hashikura Temple and Ropeway

This is a temple located at the top of Mt. Hashikura, which is 600 meters above sea level. It is the Shikoku Sacred Site Extraordinary Place in the Okunoin of Kotohira-gu Shrine.

Hashikura-ji Temple is said to have been founded in 828 by Kukai (Kobo Daishi), who received an oracle from the Konpira deity and built the Shichido Garan with the statue he carved himself as the principal image.
Hashikura-ji Temple, also known as Konpira Okunoin, is a historic temple with a history of more than 1,000 years.

There is a ropeway that takes about 4 minutes.

Junior high and high school students: 1,130 yen round trip / 620 yen one way
Children: 770 yen for round trip / 410 yen for one way
