Mount Ibuki

Mt. Ibuki is a mountain that rises in Maibara, Shiga Prefecture, with a peak of 1,377m. It is also selected as one of Japan's 100 famous mountains.
You can drive to the top of Mt. Ibuki Driveway.

There are three courses from the parking lot to the summit, and you can choose the course that suits you from 20 minutes to 1 hour.

Climbing time from the 1st station is about 3 hours. The mountain is easy to climb, but it is mostly grassland with no shade, so a hat is a must in the summer.

Ibukiyama Gondola has been discontinued.
