Hannyaji Temple

Hannya-ji Temple is a temple built in the Asuka period, located in Hannya-ji Town, Nara City, Nara Prefecture.
In the Heian period, Hannya-ji Temple was burned down by Taira no Shigehira, but was rebuilt in the Kamakura period.

It is also famous for its 13-meter high thirteen-storied stone pagoda, and for the beautiful flowers of Yamabuki, Hydrangea, Cosmos, and Narcissus depending on the season.
