Yakushiji Temple

Yakushiji Temple has an impressive sight with two pagodas on the east and west sides.
Founded in 680, the East Pagoda is a national treasure.
Yakushiji Temple is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the cultural properties of ancient Nara.

Toshodaiji Temple is located about 1km north, so it is within walking distance. On the way there is a soba restaurant "Sobagi Sakamoto" where you can eat shaved ice and a shop called "Yoshimura" where you can eat 100% soba, so you can go for a walk at noon.
