Hattasan Soneiji Temple is located in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture and is one of the Enshu Sanzan famous for warding off evil.

This historic temple was built in 725 AD by order of Emperor Shomu.
The main object of worship, Shokanzeon Bosatsu, is known as the warding off evil Kannon, and many worshipers from all over the country come to the festival every year.

Kanzeon specialty dumplings are popular.
