Hamamatsu Castle

Hamamatsu Castle is the castle where Ieyasu Tokugawa spent 17 years in Naka Ward, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
The castle tower is a simulated castle tower that was rebuilt with reinforced concrete in 1958. It is famous for Nozurazumi stone walls. It has a nickname of success castle.

It is also a famous spot for cherry blossoms.

The ruins of the castle have been turned into a park, with a Japanese garden and the Hamamatsu City Museum of Art.
