Hamamatsu City Zoo and Flower Park is a zoo and botanical garden complex on the east side of Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Hamamatsu City Zoo is a zoo that opened in 1952. About 4,000 animals of about 400 species are kept in the park, and you can see various animals such as Asian elephants, lions, giraffes, polar bears, and pandas. In addition, there are plenty of animal contact experiences and animal learning programs.

Flower Park is a botanical garden that opened in 1970. In the park, seasonal flowers are in full bloom, and you can enjoy various flowers such as rose garden, wisteria trellis, tulips, and sunflowers. The Flower Train that runs through the flower park and seasonal events are also popular.
