The great thing about Gateau de Bois is that you can taste sophisticated French pastries created by world-class pastry chefs. Chef Hayashi Masahiko was the first Japanese to win the grand prize at the world's most prestigious pastry competition, the Coupe du Monde Pâtisserie, in 1991. His cakes, which highlight his technique and sensibility, are as beautiful as works of art and have a deep flavor.

The shop offers a wide range of cakes, including cakes made with seasonal fruits and the classic chocolate cake.

There is also a salon inside the shop, where you can enjoy cakes and drinks at your leisure in a calm atmosphere.

Another attractive feature is the easy access, within walking distance of Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Station.

There is no parking lot, but there is a coin parking lot a few dozen meters south of the shop (100 yen/20 minutes)
