Iwatsuhime Shrine is an ancient shrine located in Misaki, Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is located in a scenic spot facing the Seto Inland Sea and is known as a power spot that is especially popular among women.
The shrine was founded long ago and is listed in the Engishiki Shinmeicho (list of Shinto shrines) over 1,000 years ago.

The "Princess God Belief" has been popular since ancient times.

As the shrine enshrines the Princess God, it is believed to bring good luck in finding a partner and achieving love, especially among young men and women. The cutely designed "Princess Charm" is a popular talisman that many people receive with these wishes in mind.

In addition, many people in the fishing industry and sailors visit the shrine to pray for safety at sea and a good catch. There is a record that former Imperial Japanese Navy Admiral Togo Heihachiro also visited the shrine.

The greatest feature of Iwatohime Shrine is the magnificent view of the Seto Inland Sea from the shrine building side over the torii gate. It has also been selected as one of the "100 Best Sunsets in Japan," and the view at dusk is particularly breathtaking. This view is also popular as a "photogenic spot."
In addition, there is a place designated as a "Sacred Place for Lovers" near the shrine, which features a heart monument and a bell of promise. Many couples can be seen taking photos with the sea in the background.
