Nishiki Town is a place rich in nature and blessed with clean water, including Jakuchi Mountain, the highest peak in Yamaguchi Prefecture at 1,337 meters above sea level, Jakuchi River (one of Japan's 100 famous waters), Jakuchi Gorge and Goryu Falls (one of Japan's 100 waterfalls), Rakansan Prefectural Natural Park, Kitani Gorge (one of Japan's 100 water source forests), and Souzukyo Onsen, a natural radon spring that flows directly from the source.

Local specialties are konjac, wasabi, and sweetfish.
At the shop, there are many locally produced konjac, fresh vegetables, processed wasabi products, and processed seafood products such as sweetfish and yamame trout.
In addition, in the summer, there is a wide selection of river fish dishes, such as wild sweetfish tempura and sweetfish rice. There is also a wide selection of takeout menus using game meat and seasonal souvenirs.
