Shinjuku Gyoen is an urban oasis overlooking the skyscrapers of Shinjuku. It features a variety of garden styles, including a Japanese garden, an English landscape garden, and a French formal garden, and you can enjoy flowers and greenery throughout the seasons.
Shinjuku Gyoen is a vast garden that spans Shinjuku and Shibuya Wards in Tokyo, and was once used as a garden for the Imperial Family. It is now open to the public as a national park under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Environment, and is a quiet and beautiful space that will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The garden is skillfully arranged with different styles of gardens, including a Japanese garden that condenses traditional Japanese beauty, an English landscape garden with a spacious lawn, and a French formal garden characterized by geometric beauty. The scenery woven by each garden fascinates visitors, and there are new discoveries every time you stroll through the gardens.

Shinjuku Gyoen is also a great attraction for enjoying flowers throughout the year. In spring, about 1,100 cherry trees of 65 varieties, including Somei Yoshino, bloom in full bloom, and the garden is crowded with many cherry blossom viewers. In summer, the lush trees create a cool shade, and in autumn, it becomes a famous spot for the beautiful autumn leaves of maples and ginkgo trees. In winter, the garden shows various expressions throughout the year, such as the scenery of snow hangings. In the spacious lawn, you can see families enjoying picnics and people relaxing with books, allowing you to enjoy nature in the city in your own way.

The park is dotted with attractions such as the Great Greenhouse, the Former Imperial Pavilion, and a rest house, making it a place where you can fully enjoy nature in the city in your own way. In the Great Greenhouse, you can see tropical and subtropical plants, and the Former Imperial Pavilion, also known as Taiwan Pavilion, is also a valuable historical building.
