The Kawazu Seven Waterfalls are made up of seven waterfalls with drops of 22 to 30 meters: Otaki, Kani-taki, Kama-taki, Ebi-taki, Hebi-taki, Deai-taki, and Shokage-taki. Each waterfall has its own unique charm, allowing you to enjoy the mystical nature to the fullest.
Kawazu Nanadaru is the collective name for seven waterfalls scattered in the valley of the Kawazu River that flows through Kawazu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture. "Daru" means waterfall in the local dialect. The waterfalls, each with a different look, are connected by a 1.5 km promenade, and from upstream you can visit the following waterfalls in the order of Kama Falls, Ebi Falls, Hebi Falls, Shokage Falls, Kani Falls, Deai Falls, and Otaki. In particular, the sound of the clear waters created by the abundant waterfalls and the lush greenery surrounding them invite visitors into a world of healing.

The promenade is relatively well-maintained, so even those with small children or the elderly can enjoy a stroll with peace of mind. Near the falls, there is an observation deck where you can get a close-up view of the waterfall basin, and benches where you can take a break. In particular, Shokage Falls, where the Izu Dancer Statue stands, is a popular spot for taking commemorative photos.

Kawazu Nanadaru is also attractive because you can enjoy the beautiful nature of the four seasons. The sight of the waterfall in the fresh greenery of spring, the refreshing coolness of summer, the autumn leaves, and the clear air of winter each offers a different kind of excitement.
