Farm Tomita, located in Furano, Hokkaido, is a nationally famous tourist spot as one of Japan's leading lavender fields. In the peak of summer, the vast grounds are covered with purple lavender, and the beautiful scenery and sweet, refreshing scent attract visitors. In addition to the lavender fields, the "Colorful Fields" are also popular, where poppies, baby's breath, poppies, lupines, and other colorful flowers are woven like a patchwork, allowing you to enjoy beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons.

The farm has a wide selection of lavender products and flower-themed souvenirs. You can find your favorite item, such as lavender perfume, soap, potpourri, and dried flowers. There are also plenty of original gourmet foods that can only be tasted here, such as lavender soft serve ice cream and lavender cider, allowing you to enjoy the lavender scent with all your senses.

The best time to see lavender is from early to mid-July. In addition to lavender, various other flowers are cultivated, so you can enjoy colorful flower fields from late April to early October, even when lavender is in full bloom.

Farm Tomita is open in winter. The winter business period is from December 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and the business hours are from 10:00 to 16:30. However, the business schedule may change, so we recommend checking Farm Tomita's website before visiting. In winter, you can enjoy scenery unique to this time of year, such as snowy scenery and frost. In addition, Hanabito-ya has a shop and cafe selling lavender products, and you can see some lavender flowers in the glass greenhouse.
