Tomine Plateau is a plateau with pampas grass grasslands located in central Hyogo Prefecture north of Himeji City.
Tomine Plateau is at an altitude of approximately 800 to 900 meters, and you can enjoy the scenery of each season. In spring, pretty flowers bloom, in early summer you can hear the chirping of birds in the cool breeze, and in autumn, the seven autumn herbs add a touch of color.

Tomine Highland is famous for its pampas grass grasslands, and the best time to see them is from late September to early November every year. The color of the pampas grass gradually changes from light to dark, turning into a golden grassland in late October. Every year, the ``Hyogo Tomine Highland Pampas Ski Festival'' is held to coincide with the best viewing period.
