Bansho Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Norikura Plateau in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, where meltwater from Mt. Norikura flows down. Its imposing appearance, about 10 meters wide and 40 meters high, is loved by many tourists as one of the most scenic spots in the Norikura Plateau. From the well-maintained promenade close to the waterfall basin, you can feel the powerful spray and roaring sound of the water up close, and experience stimulating your five senses in the rich natural surroundings.

The greatest attraction of this waterfall is the scenery that shows different expressions in each season. In spring, the white spray stands out against the fresh green leaves, in summer, the cool sound of the water and the deep green, in autumn, the contrast with the fiery autumn leaves, and in winter, the ice waterfall, each of which offers different beauty.
